Exploration and Production

Williams is making responsible natural gas development a reality every day as we work to produce the natural gas that our nation needs. We specialize in developing unconventional reserves, including tight-sands gas, coal-bed methane and shale.

Over the past decade, we have increased our natural gas production by more than eight-fold. We now produce enough natural gas to meet the energy needs of five million homes per day.

Midstream Gathering and Processing

Williams is one of North America’s largest natural gas gatherers and processors, dedicated
to becoming the most reliable midstream service provider in the industry.

We’re focused on running large-scale assets and running them well.

In addition to our gathering and processing business, Williams:

Gas Pipeline

Operating approximately 15,000 miles of interstate natural gas pipelines, Williams provides safe, reliable natural gas transportation to heat homes and generate electricity across the nation.

Williams operates three natural gas transmission pipelines: Northwest, Transco and Gulfstream. Together, these pipelines deliver approximately 14 percent of the natural gas consumed in the United States. With a combined design capacity of more than 14 billion cubic feet per day, these three pipelines transport enough natural gas in one day to serve the needs of more than 30 million homes.
