Safety

Our Commitment

Our employees, customers, suppliers and the communities surrounding our operations have entrusted us to create and maintain working conditions, design standards, maintenance policies and operating practices that ensure safe and environmentally-responsible operations. As a company and as individuals, we are committed to taking appropriate actions to maintain that trust.

Williams is committed to continuously improving our environmental, health and safety performance to help achieve the greatest benefit for all our stakeholders. It is our policy to meet or exceed all applicable environmental, health and safety laws and regulations and to facilitate full and open discussion to address responsible standards and practices where laws and regulations do not exist.

Williams Midstream operates under its System Integrity Plan (SIP), a comprehensive management system that contains the standards and processes that ensure we are taking appropriate actions on a consistent basis. The SIP serves as our single set of requirements that guide our behaviors by incorporating all applicable environmental, health and safety, physical risk management, asset integrity, reliability and regulatory requirements. In this way we can be sure that, by complying with our SIP, we consistently reduce physical and operational risk to the people and the environment of the communities in which we operate.
