Workday is Coming to Williams!
This year, Williams is consolidating PeopleSoft/PeopleLink and Success Factors/My Career Manager into one user-friendly system that will support our strategic directions, improve our regulatory compliance and decrease risk while enhancing service delivery options – Workday!
Workday will be deployed to the organization in stages:
- Oct. 1, 2018: Core HR processes – including payroll, recruiting, onboarding, absence and time management – go live.
- Nov. 9, 2018: Talent and Performance Management modules go live, allowing employees to enter their 2019 goals in the new system following the release of Williams’ enterprisewide goals later this fall.
- Jan. 1, 2019: Workday’s Learning module will go live, allowing us to complete our 2019 training goals and compliance requirements in one system.
What This Means for You
Because we are consolidating systems, each Williams employee will experience some degree of change. Most notably, you will be able to manage your personal and career information all in one place – at anytime, from anywhere. People managers will have direct access to manage their teams, access reporting, initiate transactions and view data whether at their desk or on a mobile device.
It is recommended that you view the Workday Fundamentals video below. This video will introduce you to Workday and will show you the key things you need to know about how to navigate Workday.
As we prepare to implement Workday, we are offering a variety of training videos to help you get to know the system. Though training is not mandatory, we encourage you to explore the offerings to see what most applies to you.
